Inspection Flights

For those wishing to travel overseas and view the different properties on offer, Opportunities Overseas will arrange an "inspection tour" which will include flights, airport transfers, accommodation and a personalised guided property inspection. The cost of the tour, arranged by Opportunities Overseas, is normally borne by the client but on purchase of a new property, the cost of the trip (to a maximum of €500.00 in respect of one person travelling) will be refunded by the company. For certain countries, we have arranged a subsidised inspection trip. For details of these trips, please click on the relevant country for further details.

If clients want to combine a weeks holiday with an inspection trip, it is normal that we require that you spend at least 2 days viewing selective property based on the your budget limits. The remainder of the trip will be free for you to enjoy the delights of the respective area. If the inspection trip is based on a 3 day/2 night, the 2 days will be spent looking at property.

To ensure there is no dispute in respect of the cost of inspection flights, it is a condition that all inspection flight arrangements must be booked through our associate travel company, J.J.McNicholas Travel Agents Ltd. If however, alternative travel arrangements have been made by the purchaser, a copy of the original confirmation invoice must be supplied in order to obtain an inspection trip refund.
